COMMUNITY MICROCHIPPING

GET YOUR PET MICROCHIPPED

Converse County Animal Shelter is dedicated to the safety of the pets in our community. CCAS offers affordable microchipping to the public, $25 per microchip. Here at CCAS, we highly recommend microchipping your pet in addition to the use of a proper ID tag. Microchips are more reliable than collars, and should your pet find themselves far away from home, you'll find comfort in knowing that nearly every community is equipped with a microchip scanner. Give your pet the best chance to be reunited with you should they escape - call us to schedule an appointment to microchip your furry friend. An experienced staff member will complete the microchipping.

More information regarding microchips from Home Again can be found below.

  • “Your pet’s microchip is permanent ID that cannot fall off, or be removed—but the microchip ID must be registered along with your contact information in order to identify your pet. If your pet’s microchip is not registered, your pet is not protected.
