Dr. Watson
Meet Dr. Watson, a gentle young soul with a heart full of curiosity and affection. At around one year old, this sweet boy is still figuring out the world—but once he feels safe, his loving personality shines through. While he may be a bit shy at first, with patience and a calm environment, Dr. Watson will reward you with the softest purrs and a love for head scratches that melt your heart.
Dr. Watson would thrive in a home that understands the beauty of slow introductions and peaceful spaces. He adores other cats and would be happiest with some friendly feline companions to bond and play with. A quiet dog who respects his space could also be a good match. He’s also quite the little adventurer and would absolutely love a home with an enclosed catio where he can safely enjoy the outdoors. If you're looking for a sweet, thoughtful companion with a tender spirit, Dr. Watson just might be your perfect match.

Jeff
Jeff is a 3-year-old tabby with a heart as warm as his stripes are bold. He was found roaming outside by a kind citizen who quickly realized he was just too sweet to be living on the streets. When Jeff came to us, he wasn’t feeling his best—life outside had taken its toll. But with some love, care, and the right medication, he’s been making a wonderful recovery.
He’s still on the mend and currently taking medication, but don’t worry—we’ll make sure his meds go home with him to help him finish healing. Despite everything he’s been through, Jeff is playful, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend. He’s the kind of cat who will curl up next to you after a fun play session and make every day a little brighter. We know he’s going to be an incredible companion—come meet Jeff and see if he’s the missing piece in your home.
-
Punkin
Meet Punkin, a playful and curious 10-month-old kitty with a big personality and even bigger energy! This handsome guy is always on the move—whether he’s chasing toys, exploring every nook and cranny, or wrestling with his feline friends, Punkin lives for playtime. He’d thrive in a home with another energetic and confident cat who enjoys a good romp just as much as he does. Punkin can play a bit rough at times, so a sturdy, social feline companion would be the perfect match for this fun-loving boy.
Punkin also has a unique birth defect that makes him extra special—his third eyelid on his right eye formed in a full circle instead of the usual half. This means his eye might water a little from time to time, but it doesn’t cause him any pain or limit his adventurous spirit one bit. Punkin is ready to bring joy, energy, and a bit of quirky charm to a home that’s looking for a lively new family member with lots of love (and zoomies) to give!

Jill
Jill’s life started with some tough challenges—she was found out in the county with an eye infection and an uncertain future. With a little love and care, she’s made a strong recovery and is ready for her next adventure.
Jill isn’t especially interested in making human friends, but she would make an excellent barn cat. She’s independent, resilient, and would thrive in a space where she can patrol, explore, and do what cats do best.
If you have a safe barn or outbuilding and could give Jill the chance at a life where she can be herself, she’s ready to take on the role of a hardworking barn companion.
-
Jack
Jack may have started life with a few hurdles, but with patience and care, he has blossomed into a truly special boy. Once a little shy, Jack has come so far—these days, he loves gentle pets and rewards kindness with endless purrs.
This affectionate fellow is still building confidence, but his sweet nature shines through more and more each day. With a calm, patient home, Jack is sure to continue growing into the loving companion he’s meant to be.
If you’re looking for a gentle-hearted cat who will return your love with purrs and quiet devotion, Jack is ready to meet you.
-
Mohawk
Mohawk got his spunky name from the dark orange stripe on his head! He is able to have fun hair without any product! He enjoys playing and loves to spend time with other cats. Mohawk hasn’t found a feline he doesn’t like. He also does well with dogs and would fit right into a multi-pet household.
Mohawk would do great in a home that will help him get his kitten energy out, while respecting his calm side when the fun is over!

Magi
Meet Magi! This sweet 2-year-old has already proven what a loving girl she is. She was a wonderful mom to three kittens, giving them all the care and attention they needed, and now she’s ready for her own happy ending. Magi can’t wait to find a home of her own!
Magi is a social butterfly who adores pets and will happily rub all over you for attention. She gets along well with other cats and does fine with dogs, too—just as long as they don’t chase her. Magi also has a playful side and loves to explore her surroundings, making her a fun and curious companion. If you’re looking for a cat who’s affectionate, friendly, and ready to join your family, Magi just might be the perfect match.
-
Lavender
Meet Lavender, a gorgeous one-year-old with a long, soft orange coat that’s just as sweet as her personality. Lavender absolutely adores attention and is happiest when she’s soaking up all the love you can give her. She has the cutest way of rolling over to show her belly and reaching out her paws to “make muffins” when she’s truly content—it’s impossible not to smile when she does it!
Lavender also has a soft spot for treats and will happily share snack time with her favorite people. While she hasn’t been around a lot of other animals here at the shelter, she’s been perfectly polite with her cat neighbors, showing no signs of fuss.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who will bring joy, comfort, and plenty of purrs into your home, Lavender is ready to be your new best friend.
-
Ashe
Meet Ashe, a beautiful 5-year-old grey and white cat with a calm, gentle spirit. Ashe is the kind of companion who will happily find a sunny spot and spend her afternoons napping peacefully, radiating pure contentment. She gets along well with other cats, but she does prefer when her feline friends respect her space—especially when the kittens get a little too bouncy for her taste!
Ashe does have a suspected chicken allergy, which causes her skin to break out, but she’s thriving on a salmon-based diet that she absolutely loves. To make her transition to a new home easier, we’ll send her along with a bag of her special food so she can settle in comfortably.
If you’re looking for a mellow, loving cat who knows how to appreciate the simple joys in life, Ashe just might be the perfect match for you.Description goes here

Astrid
Meet Astrid, a lively one-year-old brown tabby with a big personality and an even bigger purr. Astrid absolutely adores attention, and if you pause your pets too soon, she’ll give you a gentle little love bite to remind you she’s not done soaking up the affection.
When she’s not asking for love, Astrid enjoys exploring her surroundings and finding new adventures to keep herself entertained. She’s also a big fan of treats, which makes bonding with her even easier. With her playful curiosity and her sweet, affectionate nature, Astrid is the perfect mix of fun and companionship.
If you’re looking for a cat who will fill your home with purrs, affection, and a touch of spunky charm, Astrid is waiting to meet you.
-
Carlos
Meet Carlos, a handsome grey medium-haired kitten with a gentle soul. Carlos had a rough start to life, being born to a feral cat, but he came to us before he fully adjusted to street life. Because of this, he can be a little shy with people at first, but with patience, playtime, and a few spoonfuls of his favorite wet food, you’ll quickly see his affectionate side shine through.
Carlos loves playing with other kittens and would thrive in a home with feline friends to help him build confidence and come out of his shell. Once he feels safe, he transforms into a sweet, loyal companion who will be your new best friend.
If you’re looking for a playful yet tender-hearted cat who just needs a little time and love, Carlos may be the perfect addition to your family.
-
Chickadee
Meet Chickadee, a 4½-month-old grey and white tabby with a curious spirit and a shy heart. Chickadee is always watching the world around him—he loves to keep an eye on everything the staff is doing. But when it comes to being touched, he’s still learning to trust and often darts away when a hand reaches out.
With patience and understanding, Chickadee will blossom into a wonderful companion—it just has to be on his terms. He’s the kind of cat who will quietly observe, learn from those around him, and slowly but surely let you into his circle of trust. He’d also make a great mouser and would do especially well in a home with other cats to show him the ropes.
If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and are ready to give a little extra time and love, Chickadee could be the perfect match for you.
-
Midge
Meet Midge, a tiny 9-week-old tabby with a big purr hidden behind her timid exterior. Midge’s start in life is a mystery—she was found on her own—but what we do know is that she’s a little survivor. She’s still putting on weight and can be a bit picky with her wet food, but when she finds something she likes, she’ll happily dig in.
At first, Midge might seem a little unsure—she’ll hiss when you reach out—but give her a few head and chin scratches, and she melts into a ball of purrs so loud they drown out everything else. If you’ve got her favorite food, that trust builds even faster.
Midge would do best in a calm home, ideally with other cats to show her the ropes and remind her that people can be kind. With a little patience, she’ll reward you with the sweetest companionship—and her incredible purrs are worth every ounce of love you put in.
-
Pepper
Meet Pepper, a spunky 3½-month-old orange and white kitten who’s full of life and love. Pepper came to LPHS when she was only two weeks old and needed the care of a foster home to grow strong. Thanks to that early love and support, she’s now thriving—and she’s ready to find her forever family.
Pepper’s favorite part of every day is playtime. She’ll happily chase after toys, wrestle with her kitten friends, and even turn the most ordinary objects into her next big adventure. Her playful spirit shines brightest when she’s with other active animals, and she’d also do wonderfully in a home with children who understand how to treat cats with kindness and respect.
If you’re searching for a kitten who will fill your home with joy, laughter, and endless playtime, Pepper is ready to leap straight into your heart.
